Given all the tension and uncertainty in our world today, and the steady implosion of the global economy, it's easier than ever to feel afraid.
Well, I'm here to remind you - it's just as easy to feel 100% safe, secure, and completely provided for!
The following passage is taken directly from my debut book, The Nature of Life...
"I realize that fear has controlled much of my life. What I now see though is that I'm the one who creates my fear. Fear doesn't exist 'out there,' it only arises with my consent. So as easily as I give life to fear, I can create 'No Fear.' When I'm afraid, self-expression has no room to breathe. I choose to live courageously, and experience the wealth of my inherent power."
In other words, fear cannot exist unless you declare it exists. And that's the beauty of deliberate creation, you get to choose what does enter into your life!
So my challenge to you is this: For one full day, commit to feeling 100% safe, secure, and completely provided for. Any time a thought or feeling of anxiety surfaces, I ask that you simply dismiss it - if only for a day. (A tool for accomplishing this is asking yourself, "What good might come out of this?") Then, sometime before bed, reflect back on how the world showed up for you that day. Did you notice anything different? Did you feel more empowered in any way?
If you commit to this exercise, I'm betting you'll discover something wonderful for yourself!
