Do you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist? Are you the glass-half-empty type, or do you proudly present yourself as Mr. or Ms. Positive? While it may be easier for our resident naysayers to recognize themselves in the following words, rest assured everyone can relate to this topic...
Why? Because we're all negative - at least at times.
Have you gossiped recently? Negative vibration. Have you judged or criticized someone either out loud or silently? Negative. Have you complained about something because it wasn't the way you thought it should be? Neg... well, you get the idea.
The first step to becoming a 'positively positive' person is simply recognizing when you're being negative. For some people, this will be easy. For others, negativity is so ingrained, it's become an almost unconscious way of life.
So how do you know when you've slipped into Negative Nelly mode? As always, all you need do is check in with your feelings. If you feel sad, angry, jealous, hurt - in other words, anything undesirable - you are in negative-land.
And how do you get out, and into a better space? You choose to feel happy, peaceful, abundant, secure, etc.
One of the most important concepts I teach through my coaching is that no one can 'do' anything to you. No person or situation can cause you to feel any way unless you allow it. Consciously or unconsciously, you are choosing how you feel in every moment of your life. I invite you to make great choices, and feel terrific as often as possible!
So here's a simple formula to transform your life from negative to positive:
1. Recognize when you are being negative (the key is paying attention to how you're feeling).
2. Ask yourself what would feel better in that very moment.
3. Choose that feeling instead.
If you can master this one little formula, you will be able to shift your perspective any time you want - putting you on the fast track to attracting all you desire.
